How To Measure for men

This size chart is for reference purposes only

Your shirt selection should be at least 1 to 2 inches bigger then your own chest measurement. The measurements given in the listing is for the actual sizing of the shirt. This will ensure a comfortable fit for you.

1 - Chest

Measure the circumference of your chest. Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your chest, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement. Make sure to keep the tape level!

2 - Sleeve Length

For a perfect sleeve, the shoulder seam should rest at the edge of your shoulder, just where it begins to slope (not resting at the top of your shoulder or drooping down to your upper arm). Let the end of the measuring tape come down to the break of your wrist, or the wrist bone. Be sure to relax your arms, allowing them to bend slightly. If you keep your arms unnaturally straight while taking your sleeve measurement, your garment’s sleeves will be too short once you move your arm.

3 - Shoulder

Think of a line going from your armpit straight upwards to your shoulder. Measure this shoulder point (directly above the arm pit) to the other shoulder point of the same level and hold the tape measure straight. As seen on our image line 3, we do not measure to the tip end of the shoulder.

4 - Back

The shirt length measurement is taken from the nape of the neck/the centre of the collar seam, following your body down to the point where you want your shirt to end.

5 - WAIST

Measure the circumference of your waist. Use the tape to circle your waist (sort of like a belt would) at your natural waistline, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage. (If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline.) Don’t suck in your stomach, or you’ll get a false measurement. Make sure the measuring tape fits comfortably as you measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist.

6 - HIPS

Stand with your feet together, and measure around the widest part of your hips. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks. Because making sure the tape is level back there can be hard, try to do it in front of a mirror.

7 - Outer Leg

Measured from waist to toe.

8 - INNER Leg

Measured from inside the leg from crotch to toe.

How to Select your Size

The sizes given in the listings is the measurements of the garment. When selecting the size best for you, you will need to choose a garment size bigger than your body measurement, at least 1 to 2 inches bigger for breathing and fitting space with particular attention to the chest and shoulders. If you are very broad in the shoulders be sure to size up.

To select the best size compare your body measurements to the measurements given in the item listing.
