Celtic Wedding Video in the West of Ireland

Presenting Celtic Fusion Wedding Designs as told through the story of Diarmud and Gráinne the epic folklore tale of ancient Celtic Romance.

Earlier this summer we had the privilege to be invited to style a Celtic wedding shoot for Fern Hill House hotel in West Cork, Ireland.

They wanted a Look which was perfect for Celtic Weddings but was also versatile and contemporary which of course is Celtic Fusion Designs.

See our Celtic wedding video here:

The video conveys our rich history of Celtic hand-fasting marriage In Ireland and the importance of our connection with the natural world and the significance plants played in our ancient beliefs and rituals.

The dress chosen for the video is the Bríd Wedding Dress which can be found here

This elegant and timeless dress embodies Celtic ritual but combines modern accents. The dress comes with a separate wedding belt which can be worn for the ceremony and then taken off for the afters. In the video we styled the dress in the ballroom scene with one of our odi belts which can be found on our online store for a victorian inspired look.

The groom is wearing Celtic Fusion Celtic shield shirt and vest. These are tastefully embroidered with Celtic knot work on the back shoulders. The Bride and Grooms outfits perfectly complement each other to create a Celtic ceremony style.

The magical flower crown and grooms keyhole has been created by Irish artist Alice Halliday who specialises in custom headdresses and wedding designs. Visit her website here

The hand-fasting tie has also been created by Celtic Fusion using linen and handmade plant trimming.

Honouring the importance of our ancient beliefs Celtic Fusion donates one tree to be planted in the west of Ireland for reforestation. So when you you purchase a wedding dress from Celtic Fusion your Union is supporting future forests as well as a promise of love.
