Anam, meaning soul in Irish, invites you to celebrate nature, tradition, and the radiant warmth of summer.

Born in 1530 into a seafaring family, Grace O'Malley defied the gender norms of her time by becoming a formidable pirate and sailor, earning her the title of the Irish Queen of the Sea. With her fleet of ships, she controlled the waters around the west coast of Ireland, earning respect and fear from both allies and enemies. Her leadership and cunning made her a symbol of resistance against English domination and a champion of Irish independence.
